Okay, I thought that might get everyone's attention. Clearly, I am NOT a virgin. I have two amazingly wonderful little girls, as "proof", if nothing else. I'm referring to my "blogging" virginity. This is my first time. People who know me, know that I've posted several opinionated rants on my FaceBook and MySpace pages, yet this is an entirely different animal. This my friends, is where the 'real deal', the painful truth, is going to be poured out. This will give you an inside track to my life, my mind, my family, my friends and yes, my entire neighborhood.
In an attempt to remain friends with everyone and not get my house egged, or worse, I will be using aliases for everyone I know. Now, I realize that the people who are actually PART of these events, will be able to tell exactly who they are, who our friends are, etc. This is unavoidable, I suppose. All that I ask is that you, yes you...the smart one...the one who "knows" whom everyone I'm referring to is; DON'T SAY ANYTHING HERE ABOUT IT!! Please don't "comment" about Mary Sue (hypothetical name, of course) and how you just know that that's really Susie (again, hypothetical name). If you feel so compelled, you may of course, call me and tell me how you know EXACTLY who and what I'm talking about. I'm not saying that I'll confirm or deny anything. I'm just saying; this is NOT the place to relay your "theory" about my story.
Having said that, I suppose now's the time. I'm going to take that first painful step and begin. Hmmm, now the real question presents itself.....where? Where do I begin? I have so many stories that are screaming to be told. Maybe, I should do what any self respecting virgin does and take is slow. Steady. Easy. The "first time" should be something sweet. Memorable. Gentle. So with that in mind, I shall begin with............
